LED BARRICADE LIGHT

Highlights  

Extended Battery Life:

  • A steady burn LED circuit only uses 25% of what a normal 1906 incandescent bulb uses.
  • A flashing LED circuit uses less than 50% of what a normal 1850 incandescent bulb uses.
  • FOR EXAMPLE: Up to 1,100 hours of operation (Approximately 3 Months or 90 days) and it still meets I.T.E. purchase specifications for Type "C" warning lights

New Dioptric Optic System:

  • The optic system projects a rectangular pattern, meeting the I.T.E. specifications.
  • The lens and LED are interlocked to rotate together thus always providing the required rectangular pattern.

Extended Bulb Life:

  • The LED will possibly never have to be changed.  It has an estimated life of 10 years.

LED Technology

  • The LED is a Light Emitting Diode unlike a bulb which has a filament that burns out.
  • The LED is also more directional and cannotiust be a bulb replacement.
  • Our innovative lens assembly turns the LED when the lens head is turned

212 LED Lights

  • Provides a greater brightness than standard barricade lights.
  • Batteries will last approximately two months with two Rayovac HDM batteries.
  • Uses an LED Hi-Intensity ("B") Light circuit.  It uses only 20% of the current of what a regular 957 incandescent bulb uses.
  • Exceeds ITE purchase specifications for Type "B" warning lights.
  • Tested and exceeds Type "B" specifications.

WZ Warning Light

  • Alerts Drivers to Work Zone activity by fulfilling a need to inform motorists of workers present both at night and day times
  • FLASHING- means Work Area is active, workers present
  • OFF - Work Area at rest, NO workers present
  • Flashing Signal - A Hi-Intensity double flash strobe tube with a triple flash bank of 12 LEDs.
  • Commands attention --unique output conveys a clear simple attention message which is explained in the wording of the sign.
  • New optically designed lens helps to give adequate notice to the motorist down stream, long before the work area is reached
  • Easy On-Off from an extended range transmitter in order to operate light from the safety of your vehicle
  • Helps to reduce rear end collisions in Work Zones

Operations

  • Easy On-Off with each light being equipped with an extended range transmitter in order to operate the unit from the safety of a vehicle 
  • Various mounting options are available   
  • Hours of operation depends on the following 12 VDC power sources:
    1. 12 120 Ah8-AS3/120 will operate each unit from 7 to 10 eight hour days
    2. 8 qty 6V HDM batteries from Ray-O-Vac  operate for 6 eighth hour days
    3. 1 HD B will operate for 6 to 9 eight hour days

  • Visibility exceeds 3 nautical miles for vessels 50 meters or more in length
  • Special flashing light exceeds 2 nautical miles
  • Optically correct lenses for the ultimate in photometrics
  • Lens has built-in screens for each light application
